Last week I posted about the new shops that carry work from redshoes26. Well, you can add another to the list! The lovely Minneapolis Club is now selling my Minneapolis Club State Icons, which I made just for them! Find them at their front desk.
Several new stores are now carrying State Icons from redshoes26, including those in California, Missouri, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
Find my updated shops list here. Thank you so much to the shop owners and buyers who chose to bring State Icons to their shelves!

Fashionistas! Do-gooders! Art lovers! You’ll all love the Fall 2013 Trunk Show happening at Roe Wolfe on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 10am-7pm. Come see the new fall fashions at the boutique, and if you purchase denim from Henry & Belle, the company and Roe Wolfe will donate 20% of the sale to Make-a-Wish Minnesota. Win-win!
There will also be a cocktail reception, and you can meet Chelsea Lankford of zippedblog.com from 4-7pm.
If that’s not all, you can also enter to win a free pair of Henry & Belle denim!
Oh! And while you’re there, check out the gallery wall near the back of the boutique, where my State Icons are hanging in all their glory. More than 100 of them, in fact!
My list of retailers has expanded again! You can now find my State Icon illustrations at the Mill City Museum Shop. Have you been here before? If not, be sure to check it out the next time you’re in the area, at the Museum, or if you just need a unique gift. I love the way the shop is curated into little Minnesota-themed vignettes, with focuses on everything from wine to fishing to baking to tea parties. It’s very well done.
I’m really excited to have my State Icons be part of the Mill City Museum!

The next time you’re on or near the University of Minnesota campus, stop into the Weisman Art Museum’s gift shop. It’s a sweet shop that packs a lot—in a beautifully organized way—into a small space. As of today, you can find my State Icon illustrations there.
I’m happy and honored to add the WAM Shop to my list of retailers!
The AZ Gallery in the Lowertown neighborhood of St. Paul has opened up a gift shop! At Gifts @AZ, you can find art by the member artists of the gallery, as well as guest artists, at affordable prices. Perfect for gift giving or for spicing up your own home. Without spending lots of money.
And hey, it’s never too early to start shopping fot the holidays. Beat the crowds, yo!
I’m a frequent guest artist at AZ Gallery, so I’m lucky enough to have my Minnesota Icons in the gift shop. Stop by during gallery hours and peruse the shelves! You can also check out their website and/or Facebook page for more info.
Still haven’t gotten your booty to Paper Hat to see my solo show, Through the Glass: a collection of mixed-media shadowboxes? You’re in luck…but not for long. The show runs through next Tuesday, Aug. 14. So get on over there and check out my brand-new pieces.
While there, just *try* to not buy something from one of the great artists who are represented in the shop. Everything is so damn cute, you’ll be coveting things in no time. You will find among the items my Minnesota Icons, greeting cards, and postcards.
And if you’re so inclined, take home one of my shadowboxes. Each one tells a personal story, and I hope you interpret them in your own way and make the stories your own.
Let me know if you get to Paper Hat (it’s in south Minneapolis), and pass along your feedback on the show. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
